Elections for Burlington County Negotiations Committee opened at 5pm on Wednesday, April 13. The voting period closes at 5pm on Wednesday, April 20. Results will be broadcast after polls close. 

All voting is being conducted via secure online system. Members will receive an email to their work addresses with a secure link and code to cast votes for members who were nominated to represent their departments on the 2022/2023 bargaining committee.

On April 6, after months of discussions between CWA and the State about a state-wide telework program for the executive branch, the NJ Civil Service Commission approved a Pilot Program that will implement telework no later than July 1, 2022. The pilot sets general guidelines for all state departments and authorities to follow when developing their department-specific telework policies.

Update as of 4/11/2022 for State Executive Branch Workers:

CWA Locals and CWA NJ have agreed to extend the State Executive Branch MOA on Testing and Leaves again, through April 30. Like the prior extension, this continues all provisions of the negotiated MOA, including COVID SICK and COVID FAMILY leaves.

The Election Committee certified nominating petitions at 5pm on Friday, January 7. The following candidates were certified as having submitted the required number signatures to run for each office. Only one candidate met the nominating requirement for each position, so they are elected by acclamation. 

Local 1036 has awarded student loan assistance 'scholarships' to thirty six - 36! - well-deserving members. The selected recipients of the awards will receive $1,500 to defray the cost of their student loans.
